“We had a blast last Thursday hosting a painting with a twist with the wonderful ladies at Affinity at Monterrey Village. At first they were skeptical about painting, but the end results were amazing! They each put their own unique touches to their paintings and were able to really make it their own.
There’s one thing I can’t stress enough is that painting with our seniors not only aids in relaxation, anxiety and depression, but it can also improve cognition. Doing these activities in a group setting will also Improve communication and socialization (which are also very important). The best part of it all is we had fun and had a chance to really express ourselves and get to know one another!
