devastating\u00a0time for the Houston Area.\u00a0 Several of our caregivers were greatly impacted by the floods.\u00a0 Bumi Mwakibete was one such team member who had lost everything when her apartment flooded.\u00a0 Our agency was committed to helping those impacted by Harvey and one of the things we offered her was a used laptop which we planned to repair.\u00a0 She would call, text and email nearly weekly asking about the status of the laptop\u00a0because she desperately\u00a0wanted to complete the online training through IPCed.\u00a0 After several months of unsuccessfully repairing\u00a0the laptop\u00a0we thought all was lost.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1200\" program, an update was sent to Kevin Lambing our IPCed account representative.\u00a0 He was very supportive of the\u00a0spring training initiative and graciously offered a laptop to someone on our team who deserved and needed one.\u00a0 Bumi has been a valuable team member of\u00a0Hearts at Home Senior Care for nearly two years and certainly fit that request.\u00a0 She has two sons, a senior in\u00a0high school and one in college at Texas A&amp;M Galveston.\u00a0 She was brought to tears with gratitude we we gave her the surprise laptop from IPCed.\u00a0 Thanks Bumi for your hard work and dedication, and we hope you put the laptop to good use!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Kevin, for the laptop and your continued support!\u00a0 Premier training is a core value of our agency and we practice what we preach.\u00a0\u00a0Last year we logged over 1,000 cumulative\u00a0training hours and completed more than 80 certifications using the IPCed platform.\u00a0\u00a0Our 2018 goals are just as aggressive
